I started doing judo after seeing it at the Sydney 2000 Olympics. Since then I've competed at a number of university and state competitions, and the national titles in 2006 (only won 1 match!).

World's Greatest Shave

In March 2005 I helped organise and promote support of the Leukaemia Foundation's "World's Greatest Shave" at the school I was working for at the time. Partly this involved doing a presentation in school assembly for students and staff one morning. Here's the video of the presentation.

Sanity's Edge

I used to be involved in the playing and running of the Sanity's Edge mud for over ten years. It is a multi-user game set in a cyberpunk universe. Most of the website and much of the game content was created by me. Unfortunately it has been superceded by modern day MMOs and the player base gradually dwindled. It is still running but is more or less dead.
